About Robin Roscigno
Robin Roscigno earned her doctorate in education theory, organization, and policy from Rutgers University in 2023. Her work focuses on the history of autism treatment. Dr. Roscigno brings a nuanced, practice-driven approach to her scholarship as a seasoned special educator and parent advocate.
Her public scholarship has been featured on TEDx and in Ms. Magazine and Rolling Stone, and her academic work has been published in Educational Studies, The Canadian Journal of Disability Studies, and The International Journal of Disability Studies in Education. Dr. Roscigno is the professional learning specialist at the Midwest & Plains Equity Assistance Center, where she designs and delivers professional learning experiences for educators around a range of equity-related topics.
